Urban village parks acquisition,totaling $24 million, will be used to increase open space in 17 urban villages and single family areas that do not meet City standards for parks.

Projects include the Washington Park Arboretum, Discovery Park, the Children’s Play Garden, and Magnuson Park.
Cultural park-owned facilitieswill receive critical infrastructure improvements and continue to bring vibrancy to our public parks and green spaces.
Projects include the Langston Hughes Cultural Arts Center and the Seattle Asian Art Museum.
Neighborhood park developmentwill add active community space throughout the city.
Projects include Northgate Urban Park, Hing Hay Park, Whittier Heights, Crown Hill, Camp Long, Cedar Park, Rainier Beach, Marra-Desimone Park, 7th Elect Church Site in Ballard, and Othello Park.
Community garden developmentwill create greater connection to our food and more space to support the growing demand for P-Patches.
Projects include gardens in Ballard, Queen Anne, Rainier Valley, and West Seattle, and the opportunity for even more.
