Seattle Parks and Green Spaces Levy Community

  • Trail developments will provide important connections to our parks and green spaces for cyclists and pedestrians.
    • Projects include completion of the Burke Gilman Trail, the Duwamish Trail, the Kiwanis Ravine Trail, and portions of the Lake to Bay Trail.
  • Neighborhood playground improvements will bring 23 well used facilities across Seattle up to federal safety standards. 
    • Projects include Gas Works Park, Volunteer Park, Rainier Playfield, Roxhill Park, Seward Park, Golden Gardens and 18 more.
  • Playfield improvements will increase player safety and improve playability by converting four already lit sand sportsfields to synthetic surfacing
    • Projects include sports fields at Lower Woodland (2 fields), Genesee, and Delridge Playfields.  
  • Skatepark improvements will create more opportunities for this growing sport.
    • Projects include Myrtle Park, Jefferson Park, Judkins Park and Roxhill Park.
  • New children’s spray parks and dog off-leash areas located throughout the city will offer more frolic and fun for families and four legged friends.
    •  Projects include four spray parks and two off-leash areas
